Jake Hickman is a London-based editor and technical supervisor specializing in camera operation, studio management, and post-production workflows, combining technical expertise with a strong storytelling sensibility.
He is currently working as a Technical Supervisor at a London post-house, shooting and editing feature-length documentaries for Amazon Prime, Apple TV, and VOD services.
Recent credits include Drag in the Dark: Season One, an OUT TV series where he served as First AC and VFX Supervisor, Power, Lies & Corruption: The Hoffa Disappearance and All Parks & X: The Fight for Change, both Amazon Prime series where he acted as Director, Editor, and VFX Supervisor. Additional notable works include Vikings Blood and Conquest (2022 - Amazon Prime) as Writer, Editor, and VFX, and Living Out Loud (2025) as DOP/Colorist.
Other significant projects include Battles That Changed History (3D VFX) and Evanesce (short film), showcasing his versatility across various roles in the industry.
Jake holds an MA Filmmaking - Distinction from University for the Creative Arts (2021 - 2022), a BA (Hons) Film Production - First Class Honors from Winchester (2018 - 2021).
